ICANN将在本周五决定是否启用“.xxx”
ICANN(Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Number’s Governmental Advisory Committee)将决定是否使用，色情域名后缀。一个包括15票的委员会，可以对该项决议进行同意，反对，弃权。这是最后的选择，但是与ICANN先前的决定相抵触。从2004年开始，ICANN期望关闭新一轮域名的提议。
委员会可以推迟决定，并进行更广泛的讨论。但这似乎看上去不可能，因为ICANN曾两次否定推迟决定。
看来今天的大事是等待“.xxx”的成功与否，互联网和色情业永远是纠缠不清的话题。
“They have made it very clear that the board will make a decision,” said Paul Levins, ICANN’s vice president for corporate affairs. “It’s pretty clear that they want to make a decision.”
